  • Location: Santa Cruz Main Beach

  • Sanction Org: AVP America. Need Active AVP membership. Usually you get a free AVP membership when you create/renew your CBVA membership, but CBVA is not currently taking memberships, so you'll just need to use the AVP America site. Fee is $24.

  • Start Time: All ages 9AM. Check in before by 8:45, players meeting at 9, play starts just after.

  • Registration Format: Each age group will have spots allocated for "first come first in" and other spots for top points players. Sign up early to secure a "first come first in" spot. Once those spots are full, all registrants will go on a waitlist. The balance of the teams will be invited to participate based on AVP points. This hybrid format will reward some teams for early registration, while ensuring high levels of play at the same time. Click here for registration page. Click on the sideways triangle near the $90 to register. All players are going on the waitlist for now, this is why you'll see Full. You'll need to input your credit card details, but you will not get charged until I move you off the waitlist, and this won't happen until its clear we can get the courts in Santa Cruz.

  • Showcase Status: This event is not scheduled to be a recruiting event.

  • Age Groups: Girls 18U / 16U / 14U / 12U Boys 14U and 16U The exact number of courts (and therefor pools) allocated to each group will flex based on registration progress. If you want to ensure your group will have critical mass, help promote to your other beach volleyball friends. This is especially true with the harder to fill age groups like 12U Girls and boys.

  • Fees: $45 per player.

  • Pools: will be released the day prior.

  • Online Check-in: New for 2021, all players will be asked to check-in online. There will be one online check-in the prior day including a health questionnaire, and another one morning of. The check-in link will be posted here.
